Iran Unveils New Air Defense Missile
This morning in Tehran, the updated long-range air defense missile system "Bavar-373" was presented, with the presence of the country's Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, as reported by the IRNA agency.
It has been announced that the "Bavar-373" air defense system equipped with "Sayyad-B4" missiles has already been tested. The production of the Sayyad-B4 missile has also commenced during the event.
According to the publication, during the tests of the "Bavar-373" air defense system, a stationary target was detected at a distance of over 450 km and struck at more than 300 km range.
The long-range "Sayyad-B4" missile utilizes solid fuel and has undergone combat testing for the first time. Its range and combat altitude have increased from 200 km to 300 km.
