Artak Beglaryan Appointed as Advisor to Artsakh State Minister Ruben Vardanyan
Yesterday, by the decree of the President of the Republic of Artsakh, I was relieved of my duties as State Minister, passing the baton to Ruben Vardanyan. Artak Beglaryan wrote this on his Facebook page:
“I would like to highlight a few points in this regard:
- I thank President Harutyunyan for this opportunity to serve the state and the people. I also thank the State Minister’s staff and all my colleagues for our joint service.
- I assumed the powers of the State Minister under difficult circumstances, months after a catastrophic war, being fully aware of my responsibilities to the people, the President, my colleagues, and future generations.
- In crisis conditions, I did everything possible within the framework of my powers and abilities to swiftly and systematically address issues. How successful or unsuccessful I have been will be assessed by the people, the President, and my colleagues, but I believe that under such dire conditions, significant and extensive work has been done by the government under the leadership of the President.
- During my tenure, I adhered to the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Artsakh, to my conscience, values, principles, and to the national and state interests. Although I am not completely satisfied with the results of my work, my conscience is clear, and my heart is at ease, knowing that I have fully dedicated myself and invested my maximum potential.
- I apologize to all my compatriots for my shortcomings and the disappointments I have caused. Please believe that these reasons were not due to my indifference or laziness, but rather due to limitations of resources, capabilities, and authority.
- I am glad that the President and Ruben Vardanyan made this decision, and Mr. Vardanyan has taken on a mission with wide-ranging powers to address the internal and external issues facing Artsakh. I am confident that a new field of opportunities is opening before us, and we must shape our future ourselves, with the participation and support of the entire Armenian nation.
- I have decided to continue my service to the state and the people by accepting Ruben Vardanyan's proposal for team collaboration. Therefore, I will serve as an advisor to the State Minister, which, by the way, is the lowest position discussed with the President and Mr. Vardanyan, but it is the most optimal option for the effective realization of my potential at this stage, because for me, it is not the status that matters, but the values and results.
- In addition to ensuring a smooth transition, I will also undertake specific powers and functions to address both urgent and strategic issues.
ARTSAKH WILL BE ARMENIAN, MORE DEVELOPED AND STRONGER. TO WORK...”
