The White House Has Invited Kim Jong Un for a Meeting
The White House has invited North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to hold an unconditional meeting regarding the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. This was reported by RT.
John Kirby, the National Security Council's Coordinator for Strategic Communications, made this announcement.
According to him, serious attention must be paid to the provocations from North Korea through missile launches. He stated, “For this reason, we continue to reiterate our offer to meet without preconditions with Mr. Kim Jong Un and representatives of his regime,” as cited by TASS.
He also noted that Washington sees no signs indicating that the North Korean leader is interested in holding meetings concerning denuclearization.
