Ruben Vardanyan Appointed State Minister of Artsakh

The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, signed a decree on November 4 to relieve Artak Beglaryan of his duties as State Minister. Ruben Karleni Vardanyan has been appointed as the new State Minister.

With another decree from the country's leader, changes have been made to the President's decree on the coordination of ministers' activities by the State Minister of Artsakh. According to this decree, the State Minister will coordinate the activities of the following ministers:

  1. Minister of Health
  2. Minister of Justice
  3. Minister of Foreign Affairs
  4. Minister of Agriculture
  5. Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports
  6. Minister of Social Development and Migration
  7. Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure
  8. Minister of Urban Development
  9. Minister of Finance and Economy

In another decree issued on the same day, the President made amendments and additions to the regulatory framework regarding the organization of the activities of the Government of Artsakh and other state administration bodies. As a result, the State Minister has also been assigned coordination functions for the following state administration bodies: the Head of the State Control Service, the Head of the Cadastre and State Property Management Committee, the Head of the Committee on Material Damages, the Head of the State Revenue Committee, the Head of the Committee on State Inspections, and the Head of the Water Committee.
