VIDEO: Monuments cannot be restored with a 'tile-mosaic' logic, many are on the verge of destruction, says Prime Minister
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports has redistributed 62 million drams from its 2022 budget, and approximately 140 million drams have been directed to the government reserve fund. According to the decision, the development of project-cost documentation for improving the building conditions of 53 schools selected from the rural communities of the enlarged Kapan community in the Syunik region of Armenia will be ensured.
"We had agreed that when these schools reopen, new factory-produced transportation vehicles will also be acquired for transporting the children. It is assumed that these vehicles should have qualified drivers; they need to be workers of the new standard, starting from attire. From today, a clothing design competition should be announced to understand how we invite these people to work, etc. Is there anyone who can say what work has been done in this direction?" - asked the Prime Minister.
In response, Gnel Sanosyan said that the package is quite large, and everything is planned in phases. Referring to the improvement of the building conditions of the educational institutions, the Prime Minister stated, "Let’s construct the gymnasium in such a way that it doesn’t follow the logic of a tile-mosaic." More details are available in the video.
