Tehran Calls on Kyiv to Jointly Investigate Data on Iranian Drones in Ukraine
Tehran has called on Kyiv to hold a bilateral meeting at an expert level to investigate the use of Iranian drones in Ukraine. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani made this statement on Thursday, as reported by TASS.
“Emotional statements and claims do not contribute to the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis. Instead of making unfounded demands on Iran, the authorities of this country should respond to our constructive proposals and hold a bilateral meeting at an expert level to examine documentary evidence,” the Foreign Ministry's website quoted Kanani as saying.
The spokesman once again denied allegations that Iran supplies weapons to Russia for use in Ukraine. He also emphasized that Tehran is ready to exert diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
It is noteworthy that Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stated at the end of September that Tehran does not support either side in the Ukrainian conflict and is against supplying foreign weapons to both Kyiv and Moscow.
