Just as Society is Sick, So Are We All: Aghazaryan

Many believe that around Nikol Pashinyan are gathered saints; such a thing does not exist. This was stated by the member of the ‘Civil Contract’ faction, Hovik Aghazaryan, during a conversation with journalists, addressing the question of whether there are certain contradictions within the CP.

“Just as society is sick, so are we all. We all have our shortcomings, everything is possible. The disagreements I sometimes have with my teammates run deeper than those I have with opposition colleagues; this is a logical thing,” Aghazaryan said.

To the question of whether there are so-called ‘papikian’ and ‘avinyan’ factions within the party, Aghazaryan replied, “I am also part of the ‘aghazaryan’ faction. If some of my younger colleagues drink coffee with each other more often, that does not mean they are against me. I cannot say, maybe the probable final calculations of the board elections will bring some clarity to this issue.”
