Anti-Terrorism Committee Interested in Zelensky's Elite Apartment in Crimea

The anti-terrorism committee of Crimea is compiling a list of foreign citizens whose assets are involved in unfriendly actions against Russia. This was stated by the speaker of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, in an interview with RIA Novosti. Among other things, he specified that the list includes the apartment of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"When the work is completed, we will inform you," he promised.

Earlier, the deputy speaker of the Crimean parliament, Alla Ponomarenko, criticized Zelensky's intention to visit the peninsula. "His plans are not destined to become a reality, as he has no place to come to, and no one is expecting him here," Ponomarenko said.

In 2021, it became known that the Ukrainian leader had debts for communal services related to his apartment in Crimea. Zelensky was also among the debtors for Russian gas. Due to a malfunction of the meter, he paid 140,000 rubles less for services, resulting in the debt being collected through court. The property of Zelensky is located in the village of Livadia and, according to documents, belongs to the president's wife, Elena.

Zelensky's wife purchased the house from former MP and oligarch Alexander Buryak in 2013. She acquired the elite apartment for less than half of its market value, at a price of $163,893. The house is situated on the shore of the Black Sea, next to the Livadia Palace, in the "Imperator" residential complex.
