We Corrected the Mistake of 1998 in Sochi and Prague: Edmon Marukyan
We corrected the mistake of 1998 in Sochi and Prague; Artsakh and Azerbaijan must speak directly. This was stated by the Ambassador at Large and the President of the Bright Armenia party, Edmon Marukyan, during an interview on 24TV.
“It is simply necessary for Baku and Stepanakert to engage in dialogue. Their positions are currently contradictory: Baku denies the existence of Artsakh, but these maximalist positions can be overcome through dialogue around a common table with the activation of international mechanisms,” Marukyan said.
According to the ambassador, the case of Artsakh could follow the example of Kosovo, if Artsakh speaks for itself instead of Armenia. After all, Kosovo's independence was not demanded by Albania.
