VIDEO: We Will Increase Budget Revenues by 75 Percent Four Years After the Revolution, Says Pashinyan

I personally promised that within one or two years after the revolution, we would increase budget revenues by 35-40 percent, and of course, this promise has been fully fulfilled. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today, November 2, during discussions in the parliamentary committees on the 2023 budget.

According to the Prime Minister, they expect that, based on the results of 2022, budget tax revenue will exceed 662 billion drams or 1.6 billion dollars compared to the 2018 figures. “This will exceed the 2018 figures by 52.6 percent. That means we have already increased budget revenues by 52 percent in 2022 compared to 2018. For 2023, tax revenues are planned at 2 trillion 203.7 billion drams, which is 946 billion drams or 75.1 percent more than the 2018 state budget tax revenues. Therefore, four years after the revolution, we will increase budget revenues by 75 percent,” the Prime Minister stated.

He added that they expect this year’s budget to be overfulfilled by about 80 billion drams compared to the planned amount.
