Video: Explosives Warehouse Discovered at Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant
A terrorist attack has been prevented at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. According to Izvestia, this was stated by Renat Karchaan, an advisor to Rosatom.
It has been noted that Russian special services, in collaboration with the National Guard, discovered a warehouse of explosives at the plant's territory.
"Ukrainian militants had brought weapons of mass destruction to the plant a few days before it came under the defense of the Russian Federation and had hidden the explosives in one of the technical zones," the report states.
It is also reported that according to the nationalists' plan, one of the employees recruited by the Ukrainian Special Services was supposed to blow up the infrastructure connecting the plant with the city's heating supply system.
Subsequently, Ukraine would attempt to convince the IAEA that Russia was responsible for the destruction of the infrastructure and potential loss of life. However, as the website writes, none of the nuclear plant's employees agreed to cooperate with the Ukrainian Special Services.
