Twitter to Make Account Verification Paid
American billionaire Elon Musk has announced that account verification on the Twitter social network will cost $8, despite user objections, according to TASS.
The entrepreneur stated that his proposed option would 'eliminate bots,' cut the number of advertisements on the platform in half, and allow verified account users to post longer videos and audio recordings.
Additionally, according to Musk, the new change will ensure that verified accounts have priority in search results or when displaying responses to messages.
