Samvel Babayan to Appeal to International Court

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: Former Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh, Samvel Babayan, welcomes Ruben Vardanyan's "appearance" in Artsakh and his willingness to take on a role in the public administration system.

In response to our journalist's question about whether we can say that a smooth change of power is taking place in Artsakh and whether Vardanyan can protect the interests of the Artsakh people during these challenging times, Babayan replied: "The man has come, expressed a desire to serve his people, and we should allow him to serve. Whether a change of power is planned or not, I do not know, but the people of Artsakh have great expectations, and we should let him work. Perhaps he will be able to meet those expectations."

We remind you that on October 5, Samvel Babayan held a rally in Artsakh, the main message of which was that Artsakh cannot be a part of Azerbaijan. However, the gathering was not well attended.

Babayan states that he is currently working on a legal package regarding the recognition of Artsakh and believes that we must move forward through legal means. With a document developed with the participation of experts, Babayan plans to appeal to the international court. He believes that this is the only way to achieve recognition of Artsakh.
