Erdogan to Inform Biden How He Persuaded Russia to Return to Grain Deal

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan declined to comment on how he managed to persuade Russia to return to the grain deal, stating that he would inform U.S. President Joe Biden about it, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“Let it remain with me, first I will tell Biden about it,” Erdogan’s words were quoted by A Haber television.

Erdogan had previously mentioned that an agreement had been reached on the restoration of the grain corridor following negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin and discussions between the defense ministers of Turkey and Russia.

On Wednesday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Russia is resuming its participation in the food deal.
