Shoigu Discusses Targeting of Ukraine's Infrastructure

The targeting of Ukraine's infrastructure allows for a reduction in the capabilities of the Ukrainian armed forces, stated Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu. According to him, measures are being taken to prevent the deaths of Ukrainian citizens.

"The Ukrainian armed forces continue to shell the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, evacuation points, and humanitarian aid distribution sites," the defense minister said.

Shoigu also revealed that during the last ten days, the Russian army has neutralized more than 200 missiles fired from HIMARS systems while repelling enemy air attacks.

The defense minister also reminded that the autumn conscription has started in Russia as of today. He emphasized that conscripts will not be sent to combat zones.
