Buniatyan: 'Now I Will Tell the Reality, Which Is Neither a Military Secret Nor Something to Hide' About the Enemy's Location
Shirak Buniatyan, one of the guardians of Amulsar, provides an update through a Facebook post:
“I came across a report online that is actively circulating the news that the Turks, who had entered the territory of the Republic of Armenia in the Jermuk area, have retreated. As far as I understand, everyone was referring to the thoughts expressed by the Chief of the General Staff on this topic. First, I found that interview and watched it. To be honest, the words were vague and leading towards ‘closing the topic,’ that’s all.
Now I will tell the reality, which is neither a military secret nor something to hide, and anyone interested can see and verify with their own eyes. The Turks invaded the territory of Armenia in the Jermuk area, approximately 8 kilometers wide and around 8 kilometers deep, on September 13 and 14. Specifically, that hill where they have been visible since those days is still occupied by them.
More than anyone, we, the residents of Jermuk, want the enemy to leave that area as soon as possible, but it is incomprehensible to me to present the reality differently or to portray this unresolved issue as resolved. Yes, the Turks continue to remain in the same place, and this is a critical problem that cannot be solved by concealing the issue; it must be voiced and steps should be taken to clear the vicinity of the resort town from them.”
