Why Is Putin Talking About Using Tactical Nuclear Weapons? Biden

US President Joe Biden stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin's angry rhetoric regarding nuclear weapons and threats to the world suggests that he is preparing to use weapons of mass destruction, reports Daily Mail.

It was noted that for weeks American officials said they saw no evidence that Russia had changed its nuclear posture, despite fears that Moscow might be preparing a desperate last strike in Ukraine.

However, in one of the interviews, Biden was asked if he believes Putin, who had previously said he does not intend to use chemical or nuclear weapons in Ukraine. Biden responded, "I think if he has no intention, why does he keep talking about it? Why is he discussing the capability to use tactical nuclear weapons? He is very dangerous in how he has approached this, and he simply needs to back off. He could end all of this, withdraw from Ukraine."
