Powerful Explosion in Melitopol

A powerful explosion thundered near the local television and radio company's office in the city of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region. This has been reported by Telegram channels.

It is noted that a car filled with explosives was parked near the building. A member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation reported that the explosion occurred near the ZaTV office at the moment when journalists were heading to work. According to him, the studio has suffered significant damage. He also mentioned that five individuals, including journalists and civilians, have been injured. He stated that there were no military personnel in the area.

Let us recall that on the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced his decision to carry out a special military operation against Ukraine, as the LPR and DPR had requested assistance. Combat operations in Ukraine have been ongoing for the 243rd day.
