Bodies of 16-Year-Old Driver and 17 and 18-Year-Old Passengers Retrieved from Car: Details of Tragic Incident
The Ministry of Emergency Situations has provided details about the tragic accident that occurred yesterday. It was reported that rescuers discovered the charred bodies of the driver and the passengers (M.M., born in 2005 and N.P., born in 2004) in the burned vehicle, removed them, and brought them closer to the ambulance.
It was earlier reported that on October 25, at 20:48, the Aragatsotn regional crisis management center received a call that a car was on fire on the Ashtarak-Oshakan highway. A combat unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It turned out that a 'Mercedes-Benz' vehicle (driver: E.G., born in 2006) had collided with an electrical pole, and then with a tree, resulting in a fire.
The victim's condition was assessed as extremely serious at the National Center for Burns LLC. The fire was contained at 21:17 and extinguished at 22:28. The vehicle was completely burned.
