Azerbaijan Increases 2023 Military Budget to 5.3 Billion Manats

In the coming year of 2023, Azerbaijan plans to increase its military budget by an additional 5.3 billion manats. As reported by the APA agency, this means that the military budget for 2023 will exceed the 2021 figure by 17.1 percent.

According to the agency, the aim of the corresponding legislative proposal is purportedly to enhance the country's defense capabilities, while we all understand very well that Azerbaijan is attempting to seize new Armenian territories and continue to consolidate its presence in already occupied areas.
