Exports of Goods from Armenia to Russia Have Increased
Current year has seen a significant increase in the export of food, textiles, alcohol, and other goods from Armenia to Russia. This was stated by Armenia's Minister of Economy Vahe Keryan during a conversation with reporters after the closed event "Intellectual Platform" held with Armenian entrepreneurs.
“Armenian companies are exporting more goods to the Russian Federation considering that competition in the market has weakened and major international companies have exited the market (after the start of special operations in Ukraine - ed.). Naturally, we are working to make Armenian products more competitive in the Russian market,” emphasized Keryan.
He highlighted the aim to ensure that Armenian products also find a place in the field of state purchases. According to the Minister of Economy, there are significant opportunities regarding industrial goods as well.
