Azerbaijan Hinders Search Operations, Says Ministry of Defense

The Armenian government, along with the Ministry of Defense and with the involvement of mediators and international partners, is conducting daily efforts to carry out search operations in the occupied territories of Armenia.

This was stated by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense Aram Torosyan in response to a question from Auroranews.am regarding whether searches for missing soldiers are being conducted.

The spokesperson noted that some preliminary agreements have been reached with the Azerbaijani side in this regard.

It should be noted that up to this point, the Azerbaijani side has been obstructing the implementation of search operations in the occupied territories of Armenia.
