Erdogan Effectively Announced a New Precondition Against Armenia, Turkish Expert Says

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan effectively announced a new precondition against Armenia today, which will inevitably become reality at the very moment when the de facto authorities of Armenia, led by Nikol Pashinyan, sign a new "peace agreement." This was stated by Turkish expert Varoujan Geghamyan on his Facebook page.

"The Turkish president effectively announced today a new precondition against Armenia, which will inevitably take effect at the very moment when the de facto authorities of Armenia, led by Nikol Pashinyan, sign a new 'peace agreement.' This is a matter of military multi-billion penalties (contributions) that Azerbaijan will demand from Armenia for 'holding and destroying Artsakh for 30 years.' This thought was almost literally said by Erdoğan today in the southern occupied region of Kashatagh," Geghamyan wrote.

He reminded that a similar revelation was made in the summer of 2021 when Erdoğan and his wife stated during their visit to Shushi that Armenian prisoners of war should only be returned in exchange for new concessions from Armenia. Until today, the prisoners have not been returned.

"The more concessions we make, the more we will have to concede. We must remove the conceders," he added.

Another detail from today’s meeting in occupied Artsakh: Aliyev opened a new sports club, the name of which references 'Zangezur.' No, it is not a hint, it is a direct threat," he stated.
