Cavusoglu Calls on the U.S. to Lift Oil and Gas Sanctions on Iran and Venezuela

The U.S. sanctions on oil and gas from Iran and Venezuela must be lifted if the world wants oil prices to decrease, stated Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

According to him, the sanctions should be removed for a solution regarding oil prices, emphasizing that the issue cannot be resolved through the threats of a single country (Saudi Arabia).

"The entire world needs Venezuelan oil and natural gas. There is also an embargo on Iranian oil. If you want oil prices to fall, lift the sanctions," he urged.
