Trump Highlights 1332 Reasons to Be Friends with Russia
Former US President Donald Trump has called for remembering Russia's nuclear missiles, referring to them as a substantial reason for friendship with Moscow, according to CNN.
"Relations with Russia are good and correct because they have 1332 cursed warheads," Trump said in an interview with Woodward.
The book titled "Trump Tapes" includes over eight hours of raw footage from numerous interviews with Trump conducted by the editor of The Washington Post.
In particular, the former president allegedly reveals confidential information about American weapons systems that Woodward, according to CNN, has not been able to verify.
At the end of September, Putin stated in a message directed at Russians that the West has crossed all boundaries of anti-Russian rhetoric and has already begun nuclear blackmail. He noted that representatives of NATO's leading countries are discussing the permissibility of using weapons of mass destruction against Moscow, but the authors of such statements should take consequences into account.
