Ruben Vardanyan Issues Statement

The political developments surrounding Armenia and Artsakh, as well as the escalating situation regarding the resolution of the Artsakh issue, are causing me great concern, as the fates of both Armenia and the Armenian world depend on them without exaggeration. This was stated by businessman Ruben Vardanyan, who recently moved to Artsakh.

“I realize that there is no longer time for prolonged contemplation, and in this situation, my only path is to stand alongside the people of Artsakh and assume my share of responsibility for the future of Artsakh. Over the past month and a half, meetings and interactions with political and social figures of Artsakh, as well as representatives from various regions and social groups, have convinced me that people support my candidacy for the position of State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh and wish to see in me a responsible leader who will unite all healthy forces around him and lead the country in its actual endeavors to overcome the crisis. At the beginning of November, I will officially assume the position of State Minister of Artsakh, at which time I will present our strategic objectives, priority issues to be resolved, as well as inform about the initial steps to be taken. Until the end of October, I will continue meetings aimed at forming the team and our programs,” Vardanyan wrote.
