Government Allocates Funds for Construction of Buildings for the Ministry of Defense

In a decision made during today’s meeting, the Armenian government allocated 35 billion drams to the Ministry of Defense for the construction of buildings and facilities.

The decision was adopted by the executive without a report or discussion. The specifics regarding the construction projects were not disclosed in the draft published on the government’s website.

It is noted that this funding will be drawn from the resources allocated to the Ministry of Defense in the 2022 state budget. According to the project, since this amount is not foreseen under the article "improvement of the Ministry of Defense's building conditions," it will be transferred to the article "Construction of Buildings and Facilities" from the overall budget of the "Provision of Defense of the Republic of Armenia" program.
