64-Year-Old Resident Climbing Home on All Fours After Stairs Demolished

Journalist Voskanyan Sargsyan reports: “For the past four months, 64-year-old Lala Beglaryan from the village of Gndzakar in the Ijevan community has been climbing into her home like this. During the renovation of the Gndzakar-Itsakar highway, the stairs leading to Ms. Beglaryan’s house were demolished, and nothing was installed in their place. Returning home, the woman has slipped several times and fallen, resulting in bodily injuries.

Vardges Dovlatbekyan, the administrative head of Gndzakar, stated that he had addressed the issue with the workers of 'Khachhar' LLC, which is carrying out the road construction, and they promised to install stairs in a short period.
