Putin Declares Martial Law in Four Regions Annexed by Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin is conducting a consultation with permanent members of the Security Council in a video conference format in Moscow. Putin announced the signing of a decree to impose martial law in four new regions of Russia. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

It is worth recalling that Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously approved agreements to annex Ukraine's Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions into Russia.
