The Government of Armenia Has Taken Admirable Steps: Statement from Erdoğan's Spokesman

The Government of Armenia has taken admirable steps that should also be supported by the Armenian diaspora, stated Ibrahim Kalın, Spokesman for the President of Turkey, while discussing the Armenian-Azerbaijani and Armenian-Turkish processes.

"Pashinyan is managing this process well, despite the opposition from the diaspora and pressures," the Turkish official also added.

In an interview with the Turkish television channel A Haber, Kalın spoke positively about the steps taken by the Armenian authorities to normalize relations with neighbors, emphasizing that "we need to move forward by taking actions towards the establishment of peace and stability in the South Caucasus."
