Turkish Student Punished in France for Denying the Armenian Genocide

In a secondary school in the capital of France, the topic of discussion during a history class was the Armenian Genocide. According to Ermenihaber, a Turkish student named Hasan Karaoghlan reacted against the teacher and denied the horrific crimes committed by Turks in the early 20th century. As a result of his behavior, the 14-year-old Turkish student was removed from the classroom.

Following this, the school's administration imposed a conditional punishment on him, giving a stern warning that if he denies the fact of the Armenian Genocide again, he would be suspended from school for three days and lose the opportunity to participate in the educational process.

Notably, the student's father's reaction is striking. He expressed dissatisfaction with the incident and stated that it all happened solely because there is hostility towards Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in France.
