New Approaches to Road Maintenance to Avoid Traffic Jams in Yerevan

New approaches will be implemented in Yerevan regarding road maintenance, which will significantly improve the condition of infrastructure and service. Moreover, greater attention will be paid to the planning timelines of the works to avoid possible traffic jams. This information was provided by the Information Department of the Yerevan Municipality.

In 2023, approximately 200 kilometers of road sections in the capital will be repaired, which will include asphalt paving, basic renovations within 10% of each street, as well as comprehensive work on sidewalks and the raising of manholes.

Considering the scope of ongoing and anticipated projects in the construction and improvement sector, as well as the necessity of applying a proper management model, structural changes will be implemented in the construction and improvement department of the Yerevan Municipality by the decision of the council.
