Messi Founds Investment Company to be Managed by Armenian-Raised Razmik Hovakimyan

World-renowned footballer Lionel Messi has founded an investment company. Bloomberg reports that the main goal of the newly established holding will be to invest in sports, media, and technology sectors worldwide.

It is noted that Messi's primary investment vehicle will be Play Time Sports-Tech HoldCo LLC, based in San Francisco, which will be managed by Razmik Hovakimyan, a partner at Graph Ventures venture capital firm.

According to the agency, Hovakimyan is also a co-founder of the football startup Matchday.com, with Play Time being considered its first investor. Hovakimyan stated that “they want to continue to have a direct and long-term impact in the field and beyond.” The news outlet reports that the released statement does not mention the amount of the investments.
