Iran's Supreme Leader Comments on Potential Supply of Drones to Russia

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has decided to comment on the situation regarding the potential supply of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Russia, which has led the United States and the European Union to threaten sanctions against the Islamic Republic. He expressed his views on his Twitter account.

“A few years ago, when photos of our advanced missiles and drones were published, they said it was 'photoshopped.' Now they claim that Iranian drones are dangerous. Why are you selling them to this or that person?” Khamenei wrote.

He added that these drones are “the achievements of the Iranian elite and bring honor to Iran.” Earlier, the United States expressed a desire to discuss the information regarding Iran's supply of drones to Russia in the UN Security Council. Meanwhile, the European Union has threatened Iran with sanctions.
