«We will defend our country if some plague heads cross our borders» – Wolfowicz
The Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, Alexander Wolfowicz, stated that there are no plans for mobilization or military operations in Minsk, asserting that the Belarusian security alliance is capable of ensuring citizens' safety under current conditions. This information was relayed by RIA Novosti.
“The structures that exist for the protection of the state are fulfilling their tasks; there is no mobilization planned, nor is there any intention for our country to enter military operations. We do not need that. However, we will defend our country if some plague heads cross our borders; we will mobilize and stand guard over our country's defense. Under current conditions, the country's security block is capable of ensuring the safety of our citizens, including yours,” Wolfowicz said.
The Secretary emphasized that the situation around Belarus is complex and tense. “The West accuses Belarus, trying to drag it into a military conflict, attempting to militarize by conducting massive exercises,” he noted.
At the same time, Wolfowicz said that there should be “no panic in Belarus.”
