Medvedev Announces Plans for Large-Scale Production of Various UAVs in Russia

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has announced plans to commence large-scale production of various types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Russia.

UAVs have proven their effectiveness in modern conflicts. Their use is a matter of urgent necessity in the military operational zone, Medvedev stated. The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia monitored the supply of 'Orlan' drones.
