How Many People Arrived in Armenia from Russia in September and October

In September, 97,000 people arrived in Armenia from Russia. This was announced today by Sisian Poghosyan, the chairman of the Tourism Committee, during a session of the National Assembly's Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration.

However, the record month for Russian tourists was August, when the number of arrivals reached 135,000.

Georgia ranks second in the number of tourists, followed by Iran, the United States, and Germany.

According to the annual statistics, over the first nine months of this year, a total of 1,240,000 tourists have arrived in Armenia, with 46 percent or 567,429 of them coming from Russia.
