Azerbaijani Lawmaker Threatens Iran with Missile Strikes

Azerbaijani lawmaker Rasim Musabekov has described Iran's military exercises near the Azerbaijani border as a provocation, according to ‘Pastinfo’.
“The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is conducting provocative military exercises near the border with Azerbaijan, while Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is making inappropriate warnings about the unacceptable presence of foreign military in the region during his talks with the President of Azerbaijan in Astana. At the same time, Iranian ‘hypocrisy’ probably does not consider Russian soldiers in Armenia as ‘foreign’ and is indulgent regarding Armenia's intention to involve some European observers along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border,” the Azerbaijani lawmaker wrote on Facebook.
Moreover, he stated that Azerbaijan has long been familiar with Iran’s ‘distorted’ worldview and politics, and boldly advised Iran to refrain from exerting pressure on its relations with Azerbaijan. “It is necessary to correctly assess the risks, as in response, Turkey and Pakistan's borders will be at risk, thousands of missiles and bombs from Israel and Saudi Arabia, which have long been looking for a pretext to destroy Iran's missile and nuclear infrastructure, will rain down on their heads,” declared the Azerbaijani lawmaker.
