"I Am Explicitly Saying": Dumanyan on Uniting Brusov University

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Vahram Dumanyan, stated during a conversation with journalists at the government that the government has decided to unite three universities: V. Brusov State University, the Pedagogical University, and the State Institute of Physical Culture.

"Yes, the government is circulating the decision; I am explicitly saying that a corresponding decision will be made, and we will move forward," Dumanyan said.

The minister addressed students and lecturers, assuring them that nothing drastic will change. "All of this is aimed at improving the quality of education; nothing is closing down, no positions are being cut, perhaps we will have two rector positions less," said the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.

Dumanyan mentioned that when the three universities unite, there is a discussion about naming the new entity the Institute of Educational Sciences. "We are still discussing it," Dumanyan noted.
