Terrorist Activity Prevented in Moscow Region: FSB

The Federal Security Service of Russia has announced the prevention of a terrorist act in the Moscow region. According to the report, the attack was allegedly being prepared by Ukrainian special services.

A Ukrainian national born in 1972 has been arrested for transporting Igla portable anti-aircraft missile systems from Kyiv to Russia, concealed in a vehicle-based hideout at the instruction of the Ukrainian Security Service. The report also states that gadgets were seized from him, confirming communications with employees of the Ukrainian security services.

A criminal case has been initiated under the article concerning the illegal acquisition and possession of weapons by an organized group.
