VIDEO: 'We Know Where My Injured Son Is, They Won't Let Us Approach' - A Soldier's Relatives Protest Outside the Ministry of Defense

Relatives of missing serviceman Vahe Torosyan, a conscript, are holding a protest outside the Armenian Ministry of Defense. They state that Vahe has been missing since September 13, and while they know his location, they are prohibited from approaching the area.

"Since September 16, the Azerbaijani side has not allowed us entry into the territory under their control, specifically the upper part of the village of Hand in Syunik. The child called on September 15, and explained to his friend in which gorge he is located. But our side is not taking any action. Only the command structure of the military unit is working. Our people want to enter the area, but Azerbaijan does not allow it," said one of the relatives.

They assert that they know the child is alive and injured in several places, and that he is aware he is with several other troops in the forest. They noted that their last communication was on the 15th, during which he said, "Mom, listen, I'm coming, I will hug you, and we will be together."
