Russia Accuses the US of Military Operations Involvement

The United States is directing nationalists in Ukraine regarding military operations. This was stated on Sunday, October 9, by Alexey Polishchuk, head of the second department for CIS countries of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the diplomat, the United States continues to supply heavy weaponry to the Kyiv regime, facilitates the recruitment of foreign mercenaries, and provides data from military and commercial satellites.

“By doing all this, it becomes a participant in the conflict. Even many Western experts believe that the US is conducting a 'proxy war' in Ukraine against Russia,” Polishchuk said in an interview with TASS.

Earlier, on October 5, Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Russian Security Council, noted that Russia is actually opposed to the entire North Atlantic Alliance, whose members provide heavy weaponry, ammunition, intelligence, and training to Ukrainian fighters. He added that the alliance is busy planning military operations and also engages in blackmail by threatening the use of weapons of mass destruction.

The day before, on October 4, Anatoly Antonov, the Russian ambassador to the US, stated that the continuous supply of American weapons to Ukraine only increases the risk of military confrontation between Russia and the West. Furthermore, the supply of military equipment only prolongs the bloodshed and leads to new casualties.
