Kyiv Deploys Large Number of Mercenaries in Zaporizhzhia Region, Rogov Says
Ukrainian authorities have concentrated a large number of mercenaries on the front line in the Zaporizhzhia region, said Vladimir Rogov, a member of the regional administration's main council, in an interview with RIA Novosti.
"The Kyiv regime has amassed an incomprehensible number of mercenaries along the contact line, with representatives from more than 30 different countries known to be involved," he stated. According to him, mercenaries and immigrants from western regions of Ukraine are being drawn to the front line to instill fear in the local population, "which ties its future solely to Russia."
During the military special operation, approximately 75 percent of the Zaporizhzhia region has come under Russian control, with only the regional center, the city of Zaporizhzhia, remaining under Kyiv's control.
