Germany to Provide Ukraine with IRIS-T Air Defense Systems

Germany will provide Ukraine with IRIS-T air defense systems. This was announced by Germany's Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht, as reported by CNN.

"Air defense is one of the areas where urgent action is needed," commented the head of Germany's defense agency.

Germany is also prepared to transfer a total of 100 tanks from Greece and Slovakia to Kyiv.

The minister also announced the creation of an armored infantry brigade that "can be deployed quickly in Lithuania if necessary."
