Footage from Explosion at Bagratuniats Avenue Hotel
At 09:15 today, the National Crisis Management Center received information about an explosion in Yerevan on Bagratuniats Avenue, which was followed by a fire outbreak. There are reported injuries. The Ministry of Emergency Situations has released footage from the scene.
It is recalled that two fire-fighting crews from the Emergency Situations Ministry’s Rescue Department in Yerevan have been dispatched to the site. It was determined that an explosion occurred at the "D & D" hotel located at Bagratuniats 2/8 (approximately 150 sq. m.), without the outbreak of a fire. The ceilings of two guest rooms, the hallway ceiling, and wall, along with doors and windows, were damaged.
Injured individuals A. A. and K. S. have been transported to the "National Burn Center" with varying degrees of burns.
