Klaar has responded that he will send the video to me, but has not yet done so: Ombudsman
The Ombudsman has addressed Toivo Klaar, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, requesting the videos that Klaar believes could provide evidence of the torture of Azerbaijani prisoners or bodies.
According to Armenpress, during a meeting with journalists, Armenia's Human Rights Defender Kristine Grigoryan discussed Klaar's tweet regarding the execution of Armenian prisoners by Azerbaijanis, to which Klaar had condemned.
Following this, Klaar made another statement regarding having received several videos pertaining to alleged war crimes committed against Azerbaijan.
"I have committed to following up on these reports and informing the Armenian law enforcement agencies about them. Klaar has replied that he will send me the video, but has not done so up to this point," said Grigoryan.
Grigoryan also commented on reports of the discovery of graves in areas under Azerbaijani control, where mass burials allegedly took place.
"I consider it important to have an objective investigation of all possible crimes; however, the video circulating on social media is problematic. In my opinion, this issue should be handled by an independent international group of experts," said the Ombudsman, reiterating that the footage is not credible to her.
