Peskov Comments on Zelensky's Decision to Withdraw from Negotiations
The Press Secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, stated that the negotiations with Ukraine should await a change in the position of the country's current president, Volodymyr Zelensky, or his successor. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.
He clarified that from the very beginning and until now, the Russian side has supported achieving the conditions put forth by the Russian Federation through "peaceful, diplomatic, and negotiation means."
It is noteworthy that Ukraine has officially renounced any negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree implementing the decision of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council from September 30, which was adopted in response to the inclusion of regions into Russia.
