Mirzoyan, Blinken and Bayramov Held Phone Conversation

On October 4, at the initiative of the American side, a phone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties presented their opinions regarding the meeting held in Geneva on October 2.

In the context of preventing new aggressions, the importance of establishing international mechanisms for the continuous monitoring and control of the border situation was emphasized.

During the phone call, the interlocutors exchanged ideas on the development of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the creation of a mechanism for discussions between Stepanakert and Baku.
