Serzh Sargsyan: Levon Ter-Petrosyan's Remarks on Zurich Protocols and Potential Armenia-Turkey Peace Agreement Are Unacceptable
The office of the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, has issued a statement regarding the remarks made by the first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan in response to the initiative of a meeting of former presidents of Armenia and the Artsakh Republic at the invitation of the Catholicos of All Armenians at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
“The perspective of Serzh Sargsyan on the effectiveness of these meetings will be published following discussions with other interested parties involved in the meeting. As for Levon Ter-Petrosyan's comments about the Zurich protocols and the possible Armenia-Turkey peace agreement, they are unacceptable, and the comparison of these processes is completely inappropriate. Everyone will be convinced of this when the document negotiated by the officials of the Republic of Armenia with the Turkish side is officially published,” the statement reads.
