Anti-Corruption Court to Begin Hearing Surik Khachatryan's Case with Claims of Approximately 19 Billion AMD
The Prosecutor General's Office has submitted 18 claims to the court as part of a property confiscation procedure for assets of illegal origin, with a total claim amount currently standing at approximately 77.7 billion AMD or 191.5 million USD, according to the Prosecutor General's Office.
The Anti-Corruption Court will start hearing the case of Surik Khachatryan, the former governor of Syunik, in a month, with a claim amount of around 19 billion AMD.
One of the next largest cases concerns former Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan and related individuals, with a claim amount of approximately 17 billion AMD.
